Roma K. Diseati

Attorney

Roma K. Diseati is an accomplished family law attorney known for her strong advocacy and thoughtful client counseling in divorce and child custody matters. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Diseati clerked for the Honorable Justice Thomas P. Mann at the Supreme Court of Virginia.

Ms. Diseati earned her Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from George Mason University Antonin Scalia Law School, graduating in the top 15% of her class. In law school, she distinguished herself as an award-winning oral advocate and leader, serving as President of the Trial Advocacy Association, Chief Justice of the Moot Court Board, and Notes Editor for the George Mason Law Review. She was also among the first law students in Virginia to pass the bar examination prior to graduation.

Before law school, Ms. Diseati worked as a Fairfax County Behavioral Management Counselor with experience in trauma, domestic violence, and mediation. She draws upon this background to guide clients through emotionally complex family law disputes. She also has experience with both law enforcement and the military, including internships with the U.S. Army JAG Corps at Fort Hood and the Fairfax County Police Department.

In addition to her practice, Ms. Diseati serves as an Adjunct Professor at Antonin Scalia Law School teaching Legal Research, Writing, and Analysis, and volunteers as a trial advocacy coach mentoring future litigators. She is fluent in written and spoken Polish.

While recognized for her courtroom presence, Ms. Diseati also prioritizes efficient, negotiated resolutions when appropriate, helping clients avoid unnecessary conflict and expense. She resides in Loudoun County and represents clients throughout Northern Virginia and the Fredericksburg area.
